2nd assignment Graphic Studies

The assignment consisted in a study of an architectural picture with lots of horizontal and vertical lines. I chose this photo I have taken in Luxembourg Old Town during a photo walk in September 2010. I was asked to send in 3 crayon drawings using 3 different crayons HB-3B-6B: a quick drawing of the outlines (10 minutes), the shadows/highlights (30 minutes) and a detailed drawing (2 hours). Rated 13/20. I made some perspective errors but all in all the feedback was great. I love to draw … this assignment was tough but fun! I am happily moving on to the next assignment...

1st assignment Graphic Studies

I have entered an online school called ‘Lignes et Formations’ located in Paris last year to get a diploma as ‘graphic designer’. Yes I am going back to school. I enjoy reading through my courses so far and I am sure the studies will help me hone my skills to the next level.
