A few months ago I was challenged by a few teammates and friends at Scrapgirls to choose my word for the year 2011. ’Cherish’ seemed to be appropriate to me. I created a little 4×6 card which I printed and laminated. I keep one card in my purse and one close to my computer.

to feel love for
to care tenderly
to nurture
to cling fondly to
I want to cherish the moment, cherish the memories, nurture the everyday.
I need to gain back some balance between my family and my art to be able to cherish more.
As of today I especially want to cherish the memories of what I leave behind. I care tenderly for the friends I met during the last couple of years and this card will be both a reminder for the future as a reminder of the past.
